Last year, we interviewed Bryan Papé, whom many of you know as the founder of the design-forward, generosity-driven drinkware company MiiR. Through the sale of their merch, MiiR has given over 3.14 million in grants to 26 countries around the world. Toward the end of my interview with Bryan, he mentioned that he and his leadership team went through a very curious experience learning about each other through the Enneagram.
So, from that conversation with brian, fast forward to our strategy planning for speakers and topics for skucamp, our sold-out event held at the Ace Hotel in Brooklyn Sept 19th-21st. Through planning that event, I was fortunate enough to connect with Vrindavan Rao with Illuminate NYC, Vrin is an Enneagram Coach and Meditation Teacher who helps individuals and teams. With over twenty years of experience in meditation, she combines her knowledge of the body-mind-ego connection with the teachings of the Enneagram which offers insight into the core motivations which fuel our ego and behavior.
And just like Bryan and his team discovered at Miir, the Enneagram is a great way to better understand and collaborate with your team. So today, we’re joined by Vrin Rao who is going to help us understand what is the enneagram and why it’s an important framework for those who want to build greater awareness and stronger teams.
